Set Your Own Ceiling
What does success look like for you?
Too often we try to define success in business, and in life, as a specific end point. The truth is that success is defined by you, and you alone. No two operations are the same, and no two individuals will see success as the same end result. This is a fundamental principle of Farmer Coach. To not only define success for your individual life and operation, but then create the roadmap for you to achieve that success. A guide, a North Star.
Too often in business and life we create our own ceilings. The mind is a powerful tool, but also a limiting factor in both growth and progression. A coaching program is built around the fundamentals of allowing you to push through ceilings that you have created for you business and then removing the mindset of limitations.
If you can dream, you can create. This is Farmer Coach.
Don’t Go It Alone
We are our own worst enemy at times.
The theory of “rugged individualism” is that we as entrepreneurs (and yes you are an entrepreneur) often want to approach life and business on our own. We succeed or we fail based on ourselves. In any industry this leads to higher stress, higher mental health issues. With this mindset, even if you achieve the top, it is a lonely place to be.
Farmer Coach is about collaboration and group thought. We are not masters of all things, but we may be really good at a few. The idea of peer groups is a great concept, but the idea of teamwork, collaboration, and sounding boards that comes with small united groups is even greater. We provide you with a team of like individuals, all focused on proactively moving towards their goals.
Teamwork allows common people to achieve uncommon results.
Invest in Yourself
To quote Warren Buffet, “the greatest investment you can make is in yourself.”
The return on investment is significant when you dedicate time to increase your own education and skill sets and then transfer these into your business. Farmer Coach is here to help you across all aspects of business and internal farm management. Our approach is just a little different.
We are not experts in all fields, so as such we don’t pretend to be. Our job as educators and mediators is to bring the topics and solutions that we have seen implemented at the “dirt level” and then have you apply them to your own organization. Not all things work in all circumstances, so it would be foolish for us to tell you they do. The ideal of Farmer Coach education is to provide you with concepts and tools and then allow you to make them fit your organization.
In the end, you and your groups are just as much part of the education as our coaches.
So What Is Farmer Coach?
In a round about way, Farmer Coach is a time and place.
Our focus is on having you stop working “in” your farm and have you work “on” you farm. The coaching, collaborating, and educating components are all unique in their application, but the end result is to help you achieve your definition of success.
This is the first concept of its kind in agriculture. For years other industries and entrepreneurs have used this approach to change their mindset and maximize their business (whether through profitability, balance, or growth). Now, with the volatility changes in agriculture and the high risk day-to-day operations these concepts can be brought to the forefront of primary producer operations.
In Farmer Coach you will be provided with relevant industry education that applies to the current growing seasons, and is constantly updated as environment changes. The goal was to create a continuous coaching program that provides you learning and growth for years to come. We want you to see us as your farm team, and we want to watch your business flourish for the coming years.
The only real question remaining is, “what is the ceiling you have set for yourself?”
